She only had the use of one arm when she was a 16 from a shark attack while surfing the ocean to win a gold metal. After the attack her family and friends rushed her to the hospital to fix up her shoulder that no arm was connected too. She was losing a lot of blood at the time on the way there. After going through the hospital doors she fainted. Beyond hours later, she won't up in a hospital room. When the doctor came in she found out since she didn't have arm and she wouldn't be able to win that tournament that was coming up. She was so disappointed. But that didn't stop her from giving up on her dream. She found out she can serf. While everybody was telling her not too, and that she wouldn't be able to make it, she refused on what they said and won the tournament. She was so happy of herself and so was her parents. Yesterday my classmates and I did an experiment on music. Before listening to each students music, we counted to 10 as quickly as possible and after the adrenaline of our music we experiment to see if there was a difference on counting to 10 by timing us. Each of us did have different timings. After the music we heard, our timing was lot faster.

Chemical Monitoring
On October 30th, my classmates and I went to Centennial Brook and measured PH, Temperature, and Phosphate. We are comparing what we measured at Centennial and Potash Brook in Lake Champlain. When we measured the Temperature we got 48.2 F. We measured PH and got 6.5 average. And for Phosphate we got .136mg/L. At Potash Brook, we looked online at a website to compare there measurement to ours. Potash Brook's Temperature is 50F. For PH they have 8.0. And for Phosphate they got 0.07mg/L. So you can see the difference with our comparing. But during all the measurements, we had pretty fun day.

First sight of Fall.
Terrarium.
This is my Terrarium. It has pebbles, charcoal, and moss on the bottom with one wick. With some leaves and one fish and a couple critters. Over night the fish died because there was no air hole..Silly me. On the top of the Terrarium, I have soil, moss and some wild flowers planted. The Terrarium was finished yesterday, so hopefully our flowers will bloom. Today there is one stem popping out of the soil.
